Welcome to KiwiLAN - NZ's premier system-link gaming service!

Meepo

We love to game! Seeing as you found us, we guess you love to game too!

With that, we welcome you to KiwiLAN!

We're bringing Kiwi gamers together in a way like never before, where distance is no longer a barrier, and bad international connections aren't an issue, and best of all, it's completely free!

We currently support a variety of games, and offer a TeamSpeak server that can be used for both in-game and post-game chat. Tournaments, prizes, giveaways, and lots of gaming.

We're calling it a "System-link" service (VPN), which quite simply links your PC to all the others on KiwiLAN, so you can play "LAN games" against others across the country.

In fact, we're even planning on expanding to allow Consoles to join the LAN.

How it works:

See the list of games we currently support. If you have any of the games listed, then great, jump in and sign up! If not, head on over to GetThatGame and pick yourself up a copy.

Once you're signed up, you simply connect to the system-link service (VPN), fire up your game and go to LAN-play. If there's no games up, why not try creating one, or jump on the Teamspeak server and see if somebody else will host.

If you've previously tried the likes of Hamachi or Garena, then you already know the basics. KiwiLAN however is much simpler, more reliable, and for Kiwis only!

NZ's first nationwide Virtual LAN Party!

Yes, it's happening right here! Starting the 19th of March 2010 @ 7PM we're going to have the first ever nationwide Virtual LAN Party. Here's two things you won't get at any other LAN party in NZ:
1) The sheer number of people playing
2) No cost!

What? A free LAN party?! Yes, this service is completely free, and we want you to be a part of the launch!

Tell all your mates, alert the media, twitter it, tell your neighbour over the fence, anything you want.
